It includes tasks to modify tables, set field properties, use operators in queries, design advanced queries, and create action queries. Tasks include setting up and working with relationships between tables and referential integrity, advanced form elements, such as modal dialog boxes, subforms, and navigation forms, and creating PivotTables and PivotCharts. Participants will also be introduced to SQL, macros and VBA code, learn how to use Access with Outlook to collect data via email, use Access with the Internet, and split databases.

In this course, you will use Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to make your information more portable, accessible, and useful to meet the needs of your target audience. Participants will use different applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel to create files in PDF format, which is useful when you are required to share your information electronically by email, over a network, or on the web. Also covered is the creation and use of interactive, editable forms that recipients can save or print.

Facing Word Fearlessly

This class is ideal for those with some word processing experience but who feel frustrated with Microsoft Word’s sometimes inexplicable behavior. Learn to reveal formatting in documents, change default font and paragraph styles, control what you see on the screen, and how to customize Word to create documents the way YOU think they should look. Understand how to control graphic objects, how to get headers and footers to “behave,” and how to control automatic formatting.

Mail Merge

This class is designed for those with some word processing experience who want to learn how to create mail merge documents with Microsoft Word. Tasks include linking a document to a data source such as an Excel workbook or an Access database.
